Rivalry can become intense between friends, particularly when it comes to sport. Everyone’s got a view on games, tactics, players, and they’re all worthy of a wager.
Betmate puts a new spin on friendly wagers. Created by two pals, Ryan Lawrence and Declan Dowling, who spent probably too much time working on their fantasy football teams, Betmate is basically fantasy football on a huge scale, played between friends or a rapidly expanding community of football fanatics. The principles are the same, and the overriding sentiment is for everyone to have a bit of fun.
This is betting 2.0. This is low stakes between friends, a like-minded community of fans who find sport in the nuances of the game itself, who delight in the intricacies of matchplay.

Eligible grassroots clubs can earn up to £1,000 in boosted funding by meeting required threshold entries into their Survivor fundraising pot. £250, £500, or £1,000 boosted depending on entry thresholds.
Clubs must be UK-based, non-professional, and apply through the official form.
Eligible matched funds are paid after the pot begins and subject to review.
All entries must be valid, paid entries. General Betmate terms apply - misuse or fraudulent entries will void the pot.
