Overview
As part of our Raised on Sundays initiative, Betmate will match funds raised by eligible grassroots football clubs through entries to our free-to-play Survivor game, up to a maximum of £1,000 per club.
Matched funding is based on qualifying entry thresholds and subject to eligibility criteria and compliance with the terms outlined below.
1. Matched Funding Thresholds
To qualify for matched funding, clubs must reach the following minimum number of paid entries into their designated fundraising Survivor pot:
Threshold 1 (250 – 499 entries): £250 matched funding
Threshold 2 (500 – 999 entries): £500 matched funding
Threshold 3 (1,000+ entries): £1,000 matched funding
A “paid entry” refers to a valid, paid participation in the fundraising Survivor pot. Free, refunded, or ineligible entries do not count toward threshold totals.
2. How It Works
- Matched funds will be paid after the Survivor pot has started.
- All pots will be reviewed by Betmate to ensure threshold and compliance requirements are met.
- Funds will be paid directly into the Betmate account of the pot creator.
- Betmate is not responsible for the use or distribution of these funds once paid.
- Funding payouts may be delayed if manual verification is required.
3. Eligibility Criteria
To participate in the Raised on Sundays matched funding programme:
- The club must be UK-based and not part of the professional league system.
- All participants must be 18+ and UK residents.
- Clubs must apply through the official sign-up process and be formally accepted.
- Clubs must use a single Betmate account to create the pot and manage funds.
- Any abuse or breach of the terms will result in disqualification from the programme.
4. Use of Funds
Clubs are encouraged to use matched funds for football-related purposes, such as:
- Purchasing kits or training equipment
- Pitch or facility hire
- Coaching or club development initiatives
5. Campaign Duration
- The campaign will run throughout Summer 2025.
- Betmate reserves the right to close applications or end the programme at any time if the sponsorship budget has been fully allocated.
6. Entry Tracking & Communication
- Clubs will be able to track entries via the creator pot on the Betmate app.
- Final matched funding amounts will be based on verified, eligible paid entries at the start of the pot.
- Clubs will be notified of their matched funding status following the internal review.
7. Fair Play
All standard Betmate terms apply. Clubs found to be in breach (e.g., false entries or duplicate accounts) will be disqualified from the matched funding offer.
